A Village to raise a Family.

The things that go un-done are immeasurable.
As individuals,..as families,..as communities,..as beings..it seems as if there isn't any extra time to tend to those little importance's that make life worth living in a mutually joyfilled way. Must work..mutter, mutter,..must bring home the bread!..and I must go far away from my family to be a success!wait...what??

Families are falling apart. We go farther and longer in between good-times together,..and for all it takes from us,..we (many at least)..go unfulfilled still! We begin to un-know our shining, individualistically beautiful children,..and each-other. And the money that's made, that we miss our lives earning?..it pays for things we don't even want..i.e..daycare(because we're working)gas(because we work far from the house)food(because we don't have the time or where-with-all to keep a garden)..and then..lots of things to buffer the empty feeling that "living" like this gives.(What a gift!?):op

In a Village?..The Agricultural rings would sustain(i'm guessing)..maybe 70% of the food. Orchards, grain, and livestock, of course would also be integral to self-sustained abundance.

In a (newly, techno-yes)Village,..there would be solar, wind, micro-hydro, and geothermal energy and heat sources, to allow for less need as far as working just to get to work and to heat the home..etc..

In a Village?..Top- notch education would have to be standard,..as would child-education(for adults)..The central lodge would be most beautiful if it were also the School and younger child-care facility..I imagine this lodge as a multi-functional and dimensional facility..where all members of the Community can come for education, direction, interaction, information and centering.

This is where the Village Council would take it's office, as well as any other community-outreach programs.
And a Tea and Coffee House...

If you hhad the need to work away from your yurt,..your children could come to the Lodge for either schooling, or Younger-care activities!
I imagine in the beginning it will all seem as much a tangle of time as any other place to dwell,..but after time is untangled..and we each re-set our internal clocks to greater intentions,..the internal workings of the Village would run smoothly,..yet in such a way as to allow for personal and family and community time,..to celebrate each-other and what this life might BE! :o)
